Breath and Feather
A Somatic Sanctuary for the Sovereign Spirit

About
Breath and Feather is a virtual sanctuary studio and somatic experience designed for educators, healers, clergy, and visionary leaders who steward the spirits, lives and journeys of others. Inspired by the rugged, salt-water soaked landscape of the Salish Sea and rooted in the ancient concept of viriditas—the greening power of life.
We provide a structured interactive sanctuary experience for personal transformation. At the heart of our work is the LUMA™ Framework, a proprietary methodology that navigates the three distinct phases intended to cultivate a deep creative or soul-soothing transition: Flooding, Sundering, and Greening.
We operate as a bridge between the creative and the sacred, utilizing expressive arts, lithic anchors and somatic movement as tools for professional development and spiritual resilience.
Breath and Feather is designed for those whose hearts yearn for the sacred but whose minds are exhausted or wounded by the religious, dogmatic, or institutional. This space is for the spiritual searcher, the faith-based outcast, the displaced steward, the weary mystic, the worn-out leader, the compassion-fatigued believer, structural mourner, the impassioned doubter or the curious creative. There is space for you in this journey of viriditas.
Here, we don’t just survive the storm; we salvage our pieces and carve a new space as sovereign architects, through a spiritual sunder, positioned toward a life lived in full, greening vitality.

This structured sanctuary experience guides participants through the LUMA™ Framework: Flooding, Sundering, and Greening—with professional facilitation and somatic practices tailored for those looking toward reclaiming their sovereign spirit. Suitable for anyone feeling lost or broken in spirit and looking for a personal journey of discovery through creative, somatic, and artistic expression.

Resilience Workshops

Designed specifically for those who steward others, these offerings build spiritual resilience and creative capacity and cultivate and energize your spirit in the helping, teaching and nurturing others. Suitable audiences include educators, visionary leaders, mystics, clergy or healers of any modality.
Step Across The Threshold
The work of tending others is an often invisible weight, but even the strongest stewards cannot carry the weight indefinitely. You are invited to a rare high-definition pause–a virtual sanctuary designed to help you release the heaviness via the Flood, and navigate your own Sunder and find your way back to the Green.
In an increasingly saturated world, we need intentional spaces to pause and reclaim our role of “Sovereign Architect” in our own lives. After years as an educator, leader, and now mental health professional, I saw the need for somatic and creative outlets that move beyond traditional frameworks to foster deep, sensory-based reclamation practices–empowering the sovereign spirit in all of us. This immersive sanctuary experience Salt, Stone, and Somatics of Viriditas is designed to do just that.
The Experience:
This is not another webinar or a passive lecture. This is 4.5 hours of live, synchronous accompaniment spread across three 90-minute session–with one calendar week between sessions. Together we utilize the LUMA™ Framework to map your internal landscape, using somatic movements and expressive arts to salvage meaning from the noise. By the end of the three sessions, you will have created your own unique keepsake watercolor print that represents your journey through this process.
The Sanctuary:
Each session meets for 90 minutes as the same day/time for three weeks via Zoom. Price is $425.00 per person and includes an individually curated Sanctuary Box as part of the experience. To cultivate the highest level of care and attention to our creative viriditas, sessions are limited to a maximum of eight participants.
Upon registration, a physical Sanctuary Box will be dispatched to your door. Perfectly curated with professional-grade somatic tools, mineral pigments, and sensory anchors, this box serves as your tactile “anchor” for our time together. It is yours to keep–a permanent vessel for your sovereign practice.
